Yingshuang Chai is the Chief Executive Officer of NuProbe USA and NuProbe Global, and also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NuProbe Global. He is a co-founder of CellPro Biotech, and the co-founder and former CEO of CarrierGene, which merged with NuProbe Global in 2019. He is a certificated instructor at Chinese Board of Genetic Counseling, an adjunct professor at Medical School of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and a senior consultant at Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang. Chai is a renowned expert in the genomics industry with over 20 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business development and management. Previously, he was the national clinical business director of Life Technologies China and the national director of clinical strategy & development of Thermo Fisher China. Chai received his Bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Medical University (Now part of Fudan Univ.), Master’s degree from Institute of Virology, National CDC, and EMBA from Olin business school, Washington University.

Chris Yasso is the Business Development Manager for NuProbe USA. He received his Master of Science in Biomedical Science at Tufts University in Boston and has an extensive background in biology through his work in Translational Medicine in Biotech and at the Seidman Genetics lab at Harvard Medical School.

Jinny Zhang is the Associate Director of Innovation of NuProbe USA. She received her PhD in Systems, Synthetic and Physical Biology from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

George M. Church, PhD, is a Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, a Professor of Health Sciences and Technology at Harvard and MIT, and a Founding Member of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard. Dr. Church is also Director of the U.S. Department of Energy Technology Center, Director of the National Institutes of Health Center of Excellence in Genomic Science, and Director of the Personal Genome Project. He is the co-founder of more than 15 biotech companies including AbVitro, Editas Medicine, Veritas Genetics, Warpdrive Bio, eGenesis and ReadCoor. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering and the Franklin Bower Laureate for Achievement in Science. He received a B.A. in Zoology and Chemistry from Duke University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University.

David R. Walt, PhD, is a member of the faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, is a Member of the Wyss Institute, and is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor. Previously, he was University Professor at Tufts University. Dr. Walt is the Scientific Founder of Illumina and Quanterix and has co-founded several other life sciences startups including Ultivue and Arbor Biotechnologies. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, and a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from SUNY at Stony Brook.

Amir A. Jazaeri, MD is currently the Vice Chair for Clinical Research and the Director of the Gynecologic Cancer Immunotherapy Program in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine at MD Anderson. He is the principal investigator for several sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. He received his B.S. and M.D. from the University of Virginia and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology there. He finished his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute and MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Abhijit Patel, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale University. He is a physician-scientist with an active clinical practice in radiation oncology and with scientific expertise in nucleic acid biochemistry. His research lab at Yale is working to develop and clinically validate noninvasive DNA-based cancer diagnostics, with a particular focus on the assessment of therapeutic efficacy and early cancer detection.  He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, and M.D. from Yale University.
